In 1905, the Bulgarian scientist Dr. Stamen Grigorov discovered the crucial element causing
the fermentation in yogurt - Lactobacillus bulgaricus. Our yogurt is made using live cultures
carefully selected from dairy farms in mountainous areas in Bulgaria.
During a period of 18 years we created a stable group of these unique strains of bacteria that live in perfect symbiosis. This is our secret. The rest is simple - we know how to make it. Whey is a liquid that naturally appears in our yogurt due to temperature change. It's a good source of protein and living proof of the existence of probiotics.
