Dairy Products
In 1905, the Bulgarian scientist Dr. Stamen Grigorov discovered the crucial element causing the fermentation in yogurt - Lactobacillus bulgaricus. Our yogurt is made using live cultures carefully selected from dairy farms in mountainous areas in Bulgaria.
During a period of 18 years we created a stable group of these unique strains of bacteria that live in perfect symbiosis. This is our secret.
The rest is simple - we know how to make it.

Whey is a liquid that naturally appears in our yogurt due to temperature change. It's a good source of protein and living proof of the existence of probiotics. We advise against removing it, and to just mix it back in.

Our yogurt is not available for online sale.

Bulgarian Yogurt

Our Bulgarian yogurt is made in a certified organic farmhouse creamery in New York. The milk comes from grass fed cows, not treated with artificial hormones. Neither milk powders nor starch thickeners are present. The density and smoothness are achieved by using our own process of making yogurt.

What sets it apart from other yogurts on the market?

- It is less sweet, and the only flavor you taste is the flavor of fresh milk.
- Longer shelf life when properly refridgerated (8-9 weeks). Please remember, there is no single preservative added!
- The unique strains of the bacteria used for live culture. It takes a long time and millions of propagated generations to isolate the right strains, and put them to work together.

I hope you will like our yogurt and I truly believe that it will contribute to your healthy diet.
